(Last update 17th April 2013)

The “International Conference on Business Market Management” is one of the leading conferences on topics such as industrial marketing, B2B marketing, professional purchasing, supply chain management, business networks, and business relationships. It will be held from Thusday June 20th (afternoon) until June 22nd (noon) 2013 in Bamberg, Germany.

The conference constitutes a forum for exchange around academic research on business markets and the challenges practitioners are facing in managing such markets.
It takes place every other year. The 5th International Conference on Business Market Management in 2011 was held in Tampere, Finland. Previous venues of the conference also include Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), TU Delft (Netherlands) and ESMT/Freie Universität Berlin (Germany).

After screening numerous submissions, we have retained 50 papers for presentation at the conference. We look forward to seeing you in Bamberg in 2013. Please keep visiting this website for latest updates and additional information.

Venue

externer Link folgt Bamberg, UNESCO World Heritage City, is a work of art that has been in progress for a thousand years but which is as alive and youthful as ever! There is much to discover in Bamberg: Numerous listed buildings are full of mediaeval charm mixed in with baroque architecture [ externer Link folgt Link].

The many faces of this historic town are perhaps what fascinate visitors the most. The "City on the Hills" represents Franconia's answer to Rome, the "Island City" is its pulsating heart. Romance is in the air all year round amidst the splendour of the "baroque town" of Bamberg. The "cultural city" has international acclaim through the world-famous Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.

Experience Bamberg in all its glory!

Ranking among the most outstanding buildings are the late romanesque/early gothic imperial cathedral, featuring the world-famous Bamberg Horseman, and the Old Bridge Town Hall. Bamberg also offers many other leisure activities and destinations. Find out more about the many sights or create your own sightseeing tour to make your stay in Bamberg truly unforgettable!

Bamberg - a symphony in "B"

Bamberg, baroque and, of course, the city's famous beer. Nine breweries within the town boundaries produce more than 50 different beers, all of which are just waiting to be tasted! What better opportunity to advance from a regular beer drinker to a connoisseur than in a town whose brewing traditions go back a thousand years. Whether you choose Bamberg's famous smoked beer, the Franconian Brewery Museum, or simply the many beer cellars dotted around the town, now is your chance to discover the true capital of beer!
