Pillar 4 ‘Governance, Institutional Change and Political Behaviour’
Professor Dr. Harald Schoen is particularly interested in supervising doctoral students in the areas of voting behaviour in elections and referendums, political participation in European democracies, mass attitudes toward European integration and foreign and security policy, electoral campaigning in the European multi-level system, public responses to economic crises and political communication via the Internet in European democracies.

Dr. Harald Schoen is Professor of Political Sociology. His research focuses on public opinion, political behavior, political psychology, political communication and political methodology. Amongst other outlets, his research was published in academic journals such as the British Journal of Psychology, Electoral Studies, European Union Politics, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Personality and Individual Differences, Political Psychology and Social Science Computer Review.
